Read-A-Thon
Mark your calendar for the Fall 2025 Monte Vista Read-A-Thon; PTO’s biggest and smartest fundraiser of the year! Last year was an amazing success and we are excited to continue the fun starting on Monday, September 22nd through Sunday, October 12th, 2025!

This fundraiser encourages reading among students and families and helps create future healthy reading habits.
Funds raised will provide support for programs which would otherwise be unaffordable. This year we are focusing on enrichment programs (e.g. after school clubs and field trips) for students in all grades—TK through 8th.

Encourage your student(s) to contact family, friends, and community members and ask them to sponsor their reading for two weeks to raise funds for our amazing school. Their efforts are vital to the success of this event. The funds raised will help bridge gaps and sustain the educational and arts programs that our students cherish. Remember, 100% of the funds raised will directly benefit our students! Let’s make this event a great success and support our amazing Monte Vista community!

Reading Log
Beginning on Monday, September 22 and ending on Sunday, October 12, read every day and log your minutes each night. Log your Minutes Read online BELOW OR using the Reading Log provided (please download and print the Read-A-Thon packet ABOVE). [Online preferred]

Donate online on our 99 Pledges event page BELOW OR the Sponsorship Form included in the Read-A-Thon packet ABOVE. [99 Pledges preferred method]

Note for 99 Pledges Online Donation: MAKE SURE TO SEARCH FOR YOUR STUDENT'S NAME in the "Search Participant" box and donate on the student's page to make sure that the donation goes to the correct student.

Our goal is to raise $35,000, and with the support of our amazing students and their families, we know we can reach it!
